Moong Dal

Ingredients:

Moong dal                                  -  2 table spoons
Ghee                                          -  1 table spoon
Jeera                                          -  1 tea spoon
Mustard                                     -  1 tea spoon
Red chili                                     -  1 no
Green chili                                  -  1 no
Turmeric powder                        -  1/2 tea spoon
Fresh Coriander                          -  2 table spoons chopped
Asafoitida                                   -  1/2 tea spoon
Lemon Juice                               -  1 table spoon'
Salt to taste

1.  Wash the moong dal and cook it till it becomes soft.
2.  Take a kadai and heat the ghee in it.
3.  Add jeera, mustard, finely chopped red chillies, finely chopped green chilles and coriander.
4.  After they are cooked add the asafoitida and turmeric powder.
5.  Immeditely add the cooked dal and 1/2 cup of water and salt.
6.  Bring it to boil and remove from stove.
7.  Add the lemon juice and mix well.
8.  Moong  dal ready.
